>>>>> And so it begins...welcome to the journey ;) <<<<<
So this past weekend sparked the inspiration of launching a blog. From babysitting some sweet little angels to celebrating a new year for my sister, to meeting up with old friends and receiving prayers that I didn't know I needed. I am convinced even if this blog is for the one to read, be inspired, gain hope & know they aren't alone, ignite passion to dream big.....it's worth this stretch for me!
These writings will give you an inside look into the life of the Drive Project Co., stories from special guests and my own personal journey as a believer, artist and entrepreneur. I will say up front, that I believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit and with out them all together, NOTHING of this blog or business would be possible. I have had mountain top and valley experiences, but together they collectively create this tapestry of hope in my heart and thankfulness in my soul believing that when God is in it, there is no limit!
The reason I named this The Wilderness Writings is because though there are uncharted places that life takes us, there is always beauty in the journey of the wilderness.
By the river side at the bottom of the mountain, you may be walking on rocks or pebbles and preparing your body for the climb to the top. The climb brings strengthening through stretching and trusting that the path ahead is safe to continue. If not, learning to find a place to rest and get up and try again in the morning! Take time to refresh regain strength. You begin to create new strategies for the climb as you get higher and the pressure gets heavier. You begin to see the beauty of the weather conditions and the vegetation surrounding. Still with eyes wide open you stay watchful for the wild that lurk in the shadows. Your trek continues, but now you carry some scars, scrapes, and callused hands yet you feel victorious as you see the top in sight. You reach the top, see the view, shed a tear and wonder.... "How long should I stay here?" Then you look down the other side......what are your thoughts now? There IS beauty in the process, faithfulness in the journey and hope to dream bigger. Journeys can be wild, yet an adventure of wonder waiting on you!
